Default My new website - tips? ideas?

Hi guys, I've moved my website from health-lottery.org to healthlottery.org and would love some SEO feedback, the backlinks have not been propagated just yet but should be shortly.

    All feedback is appreciated

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, the adverts are hit and miss - it's using Google AdSense which allows me to make revenue from the high impressions the page naturally gets.

    Thanks again.

I've always liked your site, careful with the domain name though and use of the logo, you are coming across strongly as an official Health Lottery site which might cause problems in the future.

Does Google allow Adsense on a gambling related site?

Does Google allow Adsense on a gambling related site?

Edit: yes it does in the UK and certain other territories.

Correct, it's a little different in my case, I can't have Gambling related adverts activated on my AdSense account as the players can be 16 or over and you need to be 18 or over for the gambling adverts. There is other criteria but in my case it's fine, I've checked with the AdSense team before putting it on. It's more of a publishing website rather than a gaming website.

Thanks guys, my understanding is that every website which is a dedicated affiliate i.e. using affiliate links to a casino rather than host an actual casino is allowed to run AdSense. There are some other terms such as making sure it's only available within the countries which are allowed and you have appropriate disclaimers in place to ensure your visitors are above the legal age.

This website has now obtain top rankings for it's flagship terms so it's just maintaining it and ensuring that improving conversions is done.

Thanks for all the feedback guys.

As stated in their adsense program policies, AdSense publishers are not permitted to place Google ads on sites with content related to gambling or casinos. This policy includes driving traffic to online gambling sites through links. Not sure how are they allowing you to run adsense.

Sorry ignore the last link I posted.

    Gambling content

AdSense restricts the placement of ads on gambling sites and gambling-related content. We have different policies for gambling content based on the country in which a publisher is located. Publishers outside a limited group of countries are not allowed to place ads on any gambling content or on any pages with links to gambling content. This includes any content that allows users to place bets or play games in exchange for an opportunity to earn money or other prizes.

make sure that all the major pages of your old domain is redirected using 301 redirect option, as this will help you carry on the old page ranks and factors to the new website.

Thanks for the above guys, I had spoke to AdSense directly before putting the banners on my site which they did OK as long as the site does not change in nature.

Try to reduce your meta description length into 150 words. It's now more than 300.
