Default Getting Paid by Lock Poker?

When is the last time anyone has gotten paid from Lock? Especially I guess if you are in the USA. I have a withdraw I have been waiting on since 2/19. I requested it by cash so there is no reason there should be any issues since I am in the USA.

I have stopped promoting Lock because of this, why promote a program that doesnt pay you and your visitors for over 2 months? It is not a huge amount of money but money is money so if you have gotten paid can you share when the last time it was?

    Thanks

You will not get paid by Lock. I am owed $900 or so by them and that has been outstanding six months. I am so glad it is not anything that matters much. I was slow on the uptake. Some affiliates claim not to be paid for over two years. The company is completely bankrupt and totally corrupt. The only miracle is that the site remains live. They are the living dead. Take a look at some of the threads about them on PAL. Nobody is getting paid, though there is rumour on PAL that they pay some crooked affiliates to keep promoting them. Those affiliates would have to be bent because they would know the players never get paid and so deposits are effectively being stolen. Remember the huge team of professional poker players that used to be involved with them and whose ugly mugs were on the home page? Almost all gone - they don't want to be associated with the scam that is going on there. As I say for more info take a look at PAL.

I haven't promoted them in almost 2 years. They were never great with paying out affiliates on time then and it hasn't changed now. Unfortunately, the only people that get paid in a timely manner are super affiliates and of course their own stable of online sponsored pros.

The last I heard a few of my own players who are under me at rooms like Carbon, Intertops and ACR have been waiting on $2k cashouts for well over a year now. As far as affiliates are concerned I highly doubt the payout times are going to get any better right now unless you're of course a super affiliate.

This is the thread I contributed to on pal, there is all you need to know on that thread from other affiliates. It just confirms what I have said above. I hope it is ok to link to it from this forum, but it is valuable info for anyone caught up in the Lock Poker scam: http://www.pokeraffiliatelistings.co...-pay-mode.html

By the way just looked at their home page for the first time in months and I can't see one ugly pro mug, so they have all jumped ship (either through morals or not being paid, probably the latter)

If they are taking new clients and deliberately not paying out to players then really the owners of Lock Poker should be facing serious jail terms. I mean if the guy doing the ponzi scheme can get 100s of years in prison, this is the same thing (at least he paid out something!). I guess that fact also had the poker pros running away, even the dishonest ones. Instead of hounding honest firms (& their founders) the US authorities ought to take care of Lock Poker as a priority (& then deal with BetUS).

Travis, Travis, Travis... This cannot possibly be a surprise to you. You WERE aware that Lock Poker is/was having issues paying out to the point that they were a scam. Tell me you're not still promoting them... or that you didn't just "recently" quit promoting them. I know that you've posted about issues with Lock in the past and I indirectly called you out in October of last year for having them as a top site despite having not paid a number of players in over 1 year at the time of that post.

    This.

I've been a long time lurker and pay close attention to the US market, so even though this is my first post on here, take it for what you want, but I felt the need to chime in because of some of the statements in this thread.

Travis, you we're alerted to the fact multiple times of the payment issues, but you decided to keep them up and continue to send your traffic to the site. Just from a brief search, you were aware of the player facing payment issues back in May 2013 (xxx.gpwa.org/forum/lock-poker-pros-deserting-company-211408.html) but continued to send your traffic to them just because they converted well, you didn't decide to take them down until 5 months(or so you claimed in the post) after that post(xxx.gpwa.org/forum/shout-out-programs-pay-213919.html#post735057), where you were well aware they weren't paying players and affiliates.

I'm not trying to be an a$$hole but really we as affiliates can't come out and complain when we are also responsible for the payment issues, knowing full well they have cash flow issues/ payment issues and then continue to send your traffic to them? We are just contributing to the problem. In my opinion, Lock should be paying all their players before affiliates.

And again, not to call you out specifically, but looking at your sites, you promote some outfits that are flat out rogue, and not player friendly and yes I mean affactive and revenuejet, both are Rogued at Casinomeister (xxx.casinomeister.com/rogue/) for not paying players in a timely fashion, but yet you still have them plastered all of your site.

Anyways, don't mean to be a dick, but really, but you can't cry wolf when you know fully well what you're getting yourself into.

I'm always puzzled by threads like this...
As an affiliate it didn't take me long to come up with a system for programs that don't pay...
basically if they don't pay for more than a couple months, and you have tried communicating with them with no luck... you take their links off your website...
Then if they pay, you can maybe put up their links again, or not... and for sure if they never pay, then you never put up their links again.
Also... with new programs... as soon as you earn enough for a payment, stop promoting them and wait to see if you get paid before you promote them further.

I will often just redirect the links elsewhere, especially in cases where there are reviews etc.

As you should. I have a few brands I rank quite well for and the ones who took a turn south get a "note" explaining their current state (i.e. - they're nothing short of a ponzi scheme) and then a suggestion for a better alternative. All outbound links then get changed over to the suggested alternative. This lets me preserve the content's value and helps me sleep at night.

I feel that if I am positioning myself as an authority or giving an informed opinion with the intention of "selling" or "persuading" my readers to click and play, I HAVE A DUTY to them to make prudent suggestions. Leaving someone such as Lock Poker up this far into it without writing a disclaimer and KNOWING they are screwing your readers is nearly as bad as the ponzi scheme they're running.

Yes, just keep the review turn it negative, warn people off and tell them where they should go. Not only does it have the benefits that Shay has stated it also means there is plenty of copy out there spreading the word about what pieces of sh!t Lock Poker are.

Well buddy just because one website says they are rouge doesn't mean it is true. Revenue Jet and Affactive are far from Rouge and you can ask affiliates who actually work with them AND players who play there that there are not any payment issues. Before you accuse me of doing something that really has nothing to do with yourself do your homework. I do not promote rouge brands and if I did I doubt I would be as successful at this as I am. Maybe make a small deposit and see if you get paid. As an affiliate I always to do that and I am happy to report that I get paid by the casinos I promote.

And also just FYI - Lock Poker finally did pay. It took 3 months but they finally send the money. They are removed from my sites but players who continue to play there still generate revenue. That is a wild thought huh?

I think you need to buy a lottery ticket because your luck really is in! My payout has been outstanding at least double that and other people can count the delay in years rather than months.

I harassed them almost daily. It was only $715 which may have something to do with why they paid but yes, when they finally sent the WU details my jaw about dropped!

From what I've heard they dont even do WU payments anymore. Its not offered in their cashier and the few people ive heard from saying they got paid said that the payment was converted to check by courier.

Anyway thats crazy you got paid in only 3 months man. Ive got a withdrawal pending since 6/18/13 and its only $500 and I send emails periodically also but I dont get responses or anything.

I've also got nearly $10k sitting in my "vault" there collecting dust now even though I stopped promoting them early last year because my players keep playing also. Ive even sent emails out trying to get them to stop playing there but I guess the ones who are playing at Lock didnt subscribe to my newsletters. Some of these guys are making deposits all the time too, like atleast a few $k per month.

Maybe I should cancel that old withdrawal and make a new one so theyll pay me in 3 months too, LOL!

Wow that sucks. Yes I just kept emailing them almost every other day and would forward and reply to the email they sent saying it was on its way. I also explained I was an affiliate and so on.

Do they allow player to player transfers? If so I would send some money to a couple buddys and have them each try to cashout. Maybe you would get lucky and a couple of them would get paid. I wouldbt request 10k, I doubt you would ever get it. I would personally keep it under $1000 and you might get lucky?
