How did you get started?

Did you purchase one of those kits that are sold on eBay?

If not what did you do and how much much did you invest in order to get started?

Is there a faq available somewhere?

I think we've all started different ways. I bought Microsoft FrontPage, and just started building my site - it's always a work in progress! (Dreamweaver is a better program, tho!)
