Default Getting Started in the Gambling Niche

    Hello GPWA Community,
First off let me say it is nice to have a community designed for people that are involved with the online gaming industry. A niche specific community always helps when it comes to advice on certain website creation than any general internet website creation/marketing website, (i.e. DigitalPoint). I hope one day down the road, I can be able to provide a ton of help to people ranging from complete newbies such as myself, to the veteran players in the game. With the market being as competitive as it is, that also means that there is a huge slice of the pie for everyone to take (At least that's my thinking anyway) I've dabbled in paid marketing in various niches, but I've never really been interested in anything more than I am as the gambling niche. My passion since I was a kid has been sports. I am always trying to keep up with sports as much as I can, and then when I was of age, I loved to throw a couple bucks here and there on games. As I've gotten older though, I have realized the amount of money that gets passed in gambling is absolutely tremendous. Being from the USA though, I know the sports in my country are not what the world thinks as top level sports. The action over here lies mostly on American Football and seeing as how no other country besides Canada has an American Football league, I feel like most affiliates that press the sports wagering affiliate programs miss out on a lot of the worldwide action. I'm not saying that I wouldn't market to the US of course, since I know quite a bit about it, but I know that's just a miniscule portion of what is available for affiliates. I am also interested in pushing casino and poker type of affiliate programs that are reputable as well, but that have sportsbooks that are attached. I have an idea about a general gambling website that presses these 3 together and that would be mostly visited through organic search through Google. Paid advertising for what I would offer would be mostly unfruitful, since my site would be more informative than most I've seen on here asking for reviews. almost targeting the new to slightly new players, and in about 6 to 7 English speaking countries. My question for the community is the following: With SEO being my main traffic method, is it alright to put all 3 of those niches into one as long as each page that I publish has the appropriate technical presence for SEO? For example if I had my generalgamblingkeywordurl(dot)com but with many content rich pages on multiple keywords, would that be just as effective as 3 different keyworded rich URL's with each being dedicated to that niche? I guess I should say I would probably focus a better part of my time on the sports aspect, but I wouldn't want to miss out on some of the casino/poker traffic as well.

I would suggest 3 domains separated then develop with time what you want to do, i have a portal where are included near everything but for sure are not ranking same.

The search results are different because it is a big work to rank same on all, so looking for perspective ( something that i will do also ) would be better to say to google, this has everything for this and this other has everything for this.

In this way you can control the competion also, and will be more easy to beat it ...

Oh welcome, is your first post...

Many of the big affiliate players in this industry have general gambling portals with sections that promote particular niches. That would be my personal preference. The more sites you have, the more difficult and expensive it becomes to maintain, update and promote them imho.
