Default How Do I Obtain Search Results Like This?

I see a number of my competitors, those with excellent websites, have search results like this. I am ashamed to say that I do not even know what to call these extra links. Much less how to obtain them. I'm certain they are good not only for search real-estate, but also for obtaining more clicks.

I'm very interested in how to improve my website so that some of my pages show these sorts of results as well...

I don't think that these secondary links that appear under the main title, link and description on the search engine page are under the site owner's control. I believe that the search engine automatically publishes these links when it lists sites that it considers to be authority sites.

Well, that's strange. I outrank the authority site for the first spot yet I get no secondary links...

There no special trick to pull those links out, as @sweetbet said, Google pushes them automaticly as they consider you have enough authority to have them.

I agree with sweetbet and piscola, but I would argue that on site optimization / interlinking also has an impact.

This looks very similar to Google sitelinks, so maybe investigating about google sitelinks could provide a definitive answer.

Also, in Romania, your website is 4th in my search, while your competitor is 1st, so maybe he outranks you globally. But nice ranking mate

This looks very similar to Google sitelinks
    Those are Google sitelinks.
It happens quite often that websites with lower SERP have no sitelinks and some with higher SERP have sitelinks. There is also variation: "large sitelinks" that are far the best, but those can be only by the #1.

I think the main reason why this happens is that you are not #1 everywhere (in any geo). Just look at the webmaster tools what is your average position. If you are #1 for online poker usa not in USA, that can be the reason.

What might also help is sitemap and more importantly: to have more interesting subpages for the search term "online poker usa". Like if the people who look for the term find only one page related to the search term and your competition offers them more pages, then you maybe have the reason.

Ah, now there's an interesting notion. Perhaps to make different pages with some of those keywords and link them off of that page with different info? I hadn't really considered that. Interesting idea.

all 3 of my sites had site links in the past, those were the good ole days, now it's just one non-gaming site for a long tail kw phrase but tbh I haven't looked in a long while so it may be gone. Webmasters could remove a sitelink page but not add one.

Sitelinks are automatically generated links that may appear under your site's search results.
If you don't want a page to appear as a sitelink, you can demote it. Only site owners and users with full permissions can demote sitelinks.

I think it has to do with the SE snippet editor. Have you tried any plugins for SEO? And there are certain markups you can do to your pages so that Google will list your sitelinks. You probably already got your answer so go visit the links posted here

You have to integrate schema markup code within your website for these links to appear in the SERPS. Its pretty easy to do really.
If you google "Schema mark up" there are a few guides that will tell you step by step on how to implement this. Although there is no guarantee that Google will automatically add this on to your website listings in the SERPS.

There are also other snippets of code that you can add to your website too, one of which will show the start ratings of a service / product that you may be offering. Or in the case of alot of gambling affiliate sites, a star rating of a casino on a casino review page.

    Hope this helps a little.

There is no need to add schema markup to have sitelinks. It's mostly down to Google to display them based mainly on authority - usually you can get them if you are in the top 5 results. Also, it depends on the structure of your site, the better it is the easier it would be for google to display them.

Was checking up on our search results the other day and we had site links on some of our results! We certainly didn't do anything special to have them listed, and thus, we presume that Google does choose to post them based on its own internal criteria. Thanks for all the replies everyone.

I seem to see less of these types of results now, wondering if it has something to do with the mobi index?

I suppose that would make sense. This whole mobile results first thing is irritating for us. We don't offer mobile products, and very few of our rooms have one. We cater to desktop users, because desktop users play much more poker than their mobile counterparts. But because we don't chase a small (for us) segment of the online poker market, we're going to get penalized in the serps. So irritating.
