Default GoDaddy and school geography lessons.

Today my friend (As i know he is GPWA Member too) receive notification from GoDaddy.

The United States recently enacted new trade restrictions that prevent U.S. companies from conducting business with individuals and entities located in the Crimea Region of Ukraine. As a result, we're no longer able to provide our services to these customers.
Our records indicate you or a contact listed in your account may be located in the Crimea Region....
He host all they gambling and non-gambling domains at GoDaddy. Now GoDaddy want to destroy his business.
He is two steps away from disaster.

But the problem is, that my friend never visited Crimea Region of Ukraine on his life.
He is Citizen of Estonia. Estonia is NUMBER 1 USA confederate in Eastern Europe.

My friend called to GoDaddy support and try to explain this situation.
But support team don't belive him. They affirm that Estonia is are part
of Crimea Region (Ukraine). They are configured to hold all his domains at January 31.

Perhaps your friend can use something like a fake address generator xhttp://www.fakenamegenerator.com or xhttp://namegenerator.in to temporarily change the registered address to a more U.S friendly country while he/she thinks about a more permanent solution. The email address should remain correct and valid though.

I'd try to explain things again with the help of a map.

Otherwise, can you transfer the names to a more friendly company or are you saying they've locked them?
