Red card for opponents of the gambling reform: Prohibition policy in online casinos and poker fails before courts
After the federal states agreed to regulate online casinos and online poker from July 1, 2021, the administrative courts and supervisory authorities are now paving the way for a transitional regulation.
In a model case conducted between the Darmstadt Regional Council and a private gaming provider, the Darmstadt Administrative Court recently decided to suspend the administrative fast- track procedure (VG Darmstadt L2218 /19.DA) and the main case. The subject of the proceedings was a prohibition order by the Darmstadt Regional Council. With their concurrent requests to suspend the proceedings, the parties took into account the fact that the market for online casino and online poker will open from July 1, 2021...

Fantastic news for the German markets, this isn't something that i currently target however. Does anyone have experience of diversifying into international markets?
