Yoast by far... Free version is more than OK

I would suggest Yoast SEO, and if you want a schema optimize I would suggest the "WP SEO Structure Data Schema" this one is also good for SEO.

There is no need to add any other Schema plugins if you're using Yoast. About a few days ago they updated to 11 version and now Yoast is one SEO plugin that allows correct Schema markup without any validation errors.

Hello. I confirm Yoast is a very good plugin. I used it for 2 months now and I follow all the recommandations. Every pages, articles, reviews have their own meta description, title and slug. Now I am in very good positions in Google and Yahoo ! I am using the free version too.

5 pages since 2017, and the consensus seems to favor Yoast.

Don't see the point in members (most are newbie) continuing to add new entries about the same plugin - it's pointless. Or those adding suggestions about others, which wasn't the OP's question.

Though, guess it's one way to raise post counts

If you feel the need to post, then at least say why your using "Yoast", its advantages, and so forth. That's a quality post. But simply regurgitating what other members have stated on five (5) pages, is, and reiterating, pointless.

I do like yoast but a few things bug me with it.

The first, chrome browser doesnt pick up spelling mistakes in the meta title when you add them for some reason.

It causes errors in webmaster tools with the image URLs

FireFox is my preferred browser, hence I'm not 100% au fait with Chrome. However, there should be a spellchecker in Chrome. Open the Settings, and in search add Spellchecker or even Language. Maybe from there it may have sub menu settings.

If not, then I'm sure there's a Chrome ext., or app for a spellchecker. Give that a try.

The image issue, sorry can't help you on.

It's only an issue in the yoast section. On wordpress when adding a page or post all other spelling mistakes are picked up and highlighted by chrome. Not the end of the world I just write them in the main body then copy and paste. Just a tad annoying

I use All in One SEO Pack.

Yoast SEO is also famous because it is simpler and easier to use.

For a while, Yoast SEO was more compatible with the number of active installations, update frequency, and WordPress version, but now All in One SEO Pack is also updated daily.

There are many people who use Yoast SEO among those who earn, so I think that there is no problem with the easy-to-use one.

I've tried different SEO plugins: Yoast SEO, All in One SEO Pack, SEO Ultimate etc. But the most convenient for me is Squirrly SEO. The plugin has excellent visualization and convenient interface.

I started using WP back in early 2009 (Ver 2.7), and since then, I've tried just about every SEO plugin there is, including Squirrly. Maybe its been improved since, but when it was 1'st released, wasn't that wrapped in it. In the end, I stuck with AIOSEO, and never had a problem ranking.

At the end of the day... if it works for you, then use it. Keeping in mind, if it's not broken, there's not need to fix it.

Ultimately though, if your content is thin, and full of generic waffle, then no matter what SEO plugin you use, it wont have much impact.

Rank Brain is awesome IMO. Its got everything Yoast has and a whole load more. It's well worth checking out.

I've heard of Rank Math, but not "Rank Brain". Can't even find in the WordPress plugin repository. What's the URL?

SMH it is Rank Math, NOT Rank Brain...lol
