Sportsbook or poker banner on a Casino portal?

I wonder if it's a good idea to put sportsbook banners or poker banners or bingo banners on a portal casino with no content about sports, poker or bingo?

Is it logical to think that a percentage of casino enthusiasts are also sports/ poker/bingo fans?

Or we need to focus exclusively on casino players?

It's probably best to target what your readers are there for.

I agree with Joe that it is likely better to advertise more to your target market, but don't overlook cross promotions completely.

Casino bettors play poker, and some times they bet on sports, or maybe even bingo.

If you have a banner rotation, mix them up but it is probably better to focus a higher percentage on the target market.

If it is going to work, probably best to try it with an interesting/good value offer rather than normal run of the mill stuff

And to focus on casinos that have also a sportsbook and a poker room.

Bingo users are more female while sportsbook and poker players are more male.

Why not trying, but the cross sell seems bit tricky here.
I know BJ can be good to push even on poker site for example, but poker to casino (online slot especially)? Not the same target for me..
Anyways, if you have stats to provide in the future, will be interesting to know about it, may learn some new stuff

I think if your main content is casino then you should not put many banners for other products, you can use maybe links on casino content and they go poker/bingo etc anyway noone should forget that casino term is coming from italian word, CASA and it was concepted like a place where people enjoy many gambling products, i like to imagine like that...

People who come in my site find a " casa " to entertain their desires with all gambling products that are offered online, ( most of them because there are alot which we cant promote all )

So if there are ways on how to play at casino online, there are ways to do everything else

cross selling is something that works very well. Of course it makes sense to put content related banners on your websites but many sportsbook users start to play in the casino as well. I think the best correlating products are poker and casino. Give it a try and put some banners in rotation. In your case I would try the poker banners first.
