To be honest this appears to be a dead social media site, better of taking to Facebook or Twitter. The only purpose of Google +is usually SEO purposes

I believe that maybe 12-18 months ago, Google+ really did help in SEO, those little pictures helped with CTR and Google seemed to also give a ranking bias to those sites who'd bothered to sign up to Google+ and actively be on there. Nowadays I am noticing no ranking bias whatsoever and they got rid of the pics so it's more or less pointless in my eyes.

Google + is dead... i just used it because it's Google and some how it will be a factor in ranking. Twitter, Facebook are much more active. Although I think Facebook's popularity is decreasing little by little.

It would be a good project for someone. Maybe you could start it?! I am sure you would get some kudos from G.

I don`t think an aff. community will do much. There are too few people in this business and maybe 0,1% of them will be active. After 2 weeks most of them will forget about it. On google+, there`s virtually zero chance for a serious aff. community. I think gpwa is as good as it will get.

I`m still trying to lose the habbit of posting links to all my previews on G+ like an idiot, hoping that it will affect ranking. Funny how a giant like Google could blow such a big project, but it`s pretty much dead.

G+ is fairly useless for me. I get much better results from Twitter and Facebook.

That´s right, I think everyone was expecting more from Google, but it is difficult to compete with fb

I've recently set up Google Plus for my website but it seems what people are saying here is true. I've managed to build up a few hundred people in my circles but the majority of them appear to be inactive and I'm getting barely any traffic from it.

G+ was always doomed. People just don't see google as a social media tool and as we affiliates know intent is everything with the user

In all my time bothering properly with Google+ I saw more or less zero traffic benefits. The only benefit you are hoping for is that it could play some small % in the ranking factors - that percent now is probably something quite miniscule compared to other ranking factors.

I must admit that I'm hardly active on Google+ for GoonersGuide, five posts in 2014, zero in 2015 (I've now made that one post in 2015).

My personal profile is busier, but only because Google+ steals comments from YouTube and assigns them, I don't think that I've ever actually had a Google+ conversation.

    Google+ is a ghost town.

I've used Google+ for a couple of non-gambling related sites and found it of little use. Very little worthwhile traffic compared to other social media sites - Facebook, Twitter, et al.
