Default Google competes with social networking

Google joins the social networking craze.

Google has set out to enable all websites, free of charge, to be imbued with common social networking features as the Internet evolves toward becoming a giant community along the lines of MySpace or Facebook.

I wonder how the social bookmarking websites will feel knowing that the big bad google is encroaching on their turf. I really hope the yahoo-msn deal is a go again so that there is some competition out there for google.

Just an FYI to GPWA Admins - the above came to AGD last night too... it is a spammer bot. Might want to ban and delete posts.

FYI 2: There is another one that came onto the forum here too... I think the username is something like hihulua, but can't remember.

Spam or not it is an interested doc, and no doubt one that is overdue with Google entering the social market.

I think Google is already in the social networking website with their Orkut.com. This one is really famous in some Asian countries and also in Brazil.

This is not at all new to Google.
