I'm back!

Hi guys

Well I'm back from my holiday ALREADY.. The time flew by.

Anyhow, as promised, here are a few photos that I took with the blackberry while I was there.. I have taken about 600 photos with my camera so I wont post them all...

I rode an elephant, played with baby meerkats, played with lion and tiger cubs and saw quite a few animals with big balls.. they were massive!

Anyway, enjoy!

Bahaha what are you talking about Chips? Were you looking at a different pic than me?

Just want to say that the baby tiger is far too cute and definitely also on my list to pet, so so cuddly!

Those baby meerkats are totally cute! I want to play with them too. Sometimes when nothing else is on I watch the show on TV about meerkats and they always keep me entertained.

I'm glad you had a good time. Would love to see more of your vacation.

You can ride the elephants at Zabula which is about 3 hours north of Joburg - that's where the baby meerkats were as well as the baby lion and tiger cubs. You can play with the cubs for 15 mins for 20 rand. Very cheap. The elephant ride included 1 hour interaction with the elephants as well as a 45 min elephant ride.

The interaction was awesome. I gave one elephant a high five, fed another through it's mouth and to it's trunk, and the last elephant was told my name while I fed it, along with 3 other people and then we all gave one of our shoes and the elephant had to 1) give each person their shoe back, and 2) give the shoes to whoever's name the instructor told him to. They also said that if we came back a year later the elephant would still remember our name.

All that was just over 800 rand. Well worth it.

We stayed at Mubalingwe (I think that's how you spell it) which was right next to Kabula and was really nice. I think it's 5 star.
