    Default Google owns up to "harmful" messages

    If you're like Buzzy, you are extremely dependent on Google for its news and its wonderful alert system. And if you're like Buzzy, you were probably quite confused when you saw many of your alerts show this message over the weekend: "This site may harm your computer."

    Don't worry though. Google has come out on its official blog and said your computer is safe and sound.

    If you did a Google search between 6:30 a.m. PST and 7:25 a.m. PST this morning, you likely saw that the message "This site may harm your computer" accompanied each and every search result. This was clearly an error, and we are very sorry for the inconvenience caused to our users.

    What happened? Very simply, human error.
