GPWA announces New Owner

The members of GPWA are pleased to announce they've approved Casinoglen and his wife, Allstar, as the new owners of GPWA. In a landslide vote with many positive and supportive posts from the members, the vote was officially closed Saturday, May 1, at noon EDT.

Casinoglen has been a very active member of GPWA since February, 2003, and has served as a Team Leader with administrative powers at the board for the last year, assisting with the management of the board. During that time, John has proven himself to be a fair, level-headed, and non-selfserving member of GPWA actively helping other webmasters, which is why he was so widely approved by the members as the new owner. His wife, Allstar/Marlene, has been a member since August of 2003 and will be actively involved in the day-to-day management of GPWA alongside John.

The actual transfer of GPWA will take place sometime in the next couple of weeks, and until then I will still be handling all the manager functions. In the meantime, if you'd like to contact John, you can reach him at webmaster@casinoglen.com .

Thank you Cindy and members this all could not be possible without you all. When I woke up this morning and read this, I was really touched.

I just want all of you to know that we will do the best we can and with members like you, I know we won't fail.

I also want to give a special thanks to Admins, Moderators, And Team Leaders. I'm always on and off the board and see how you all jump in when someone needs help.

I also want Cindy to know that G.P.W.A will always be her home. She has done an excellent job, and with her help I know we can too.

Marlene and I have begun handling the day to day activities of managing GPWA as of May 17, 2004.

We are excited and look forward to helping GPWA grow. I thank everyone for their support and help provided along the way. I will be contacting each of the affiliate programs with a personal note over the next few days.

This transition has been a busy one, as it had coincided with another project that I have been working on for GPWA Members, so I apologize for not having posted any sooner. I'm looking forward to working closely with everyone to make GPWA the best place around!
