Thumbs up GPWA at CAP Euro in Barcelona

The CAP Euro Conference in Barcelona is almost here. And I for one am looking forward to having a really great time next week. RebeccaL and EricEricEric from GPWA central will also be there with me.

If you're going to be at CAP Euro, be sure to stop by the GPWA booth and say hello in person. We'd love to find out what you're doing, and share some of our plans first-hand with you.

It's nice to know the people behind the posts in the forums. And, of course, its nice to be able to recognize more people at the parties!

Be sure to check-out the forum threads here about the CAP conference at https://www.gpwa.org/forum/cap-conferences.html

And the CAP Euro website at www.capeuro.com.

And if you will be at CAP be sure to root for our fellow GPWA members participating in the ASOP Tournament (www.asop.com).

And if you're going early to be at EIG (http://www.eigexpo.com/2007/) like we are we'll hope to see you there too.

Here's to a great couple conferences in Barcelona! Hope you can join us there!

Ahhh, the hard life of the Casino City team jetting from international event to international event.

Have a great time in Spain everyone. I need to get myself sorted out to attend more of these events and to meet some more of my fellow members in person.

In light of the fact that you'll be documenting the event, I'm not going touching a drop of alcohol and I am wearing a fake mustache and glasses in case sting and jenny are taking photos... booya.

hugs and love = cider (scrumpy if they have it!)

Safety Notice: Do not use in confined areas, once cider has been added and stand well back and watch the show. Injury may occur noone is responsible for any injuries incurred other than yourself. No legal cases can be brought against the man in the glasses as a result of cider.

Or a crazy party break. Just got back to my room (It's 3:20am here), and I'm back early compared to others who were going to party elsewhere after we shut one establishment down for the night. Wednesday is GPWA Times e-mail newsletter day, and so I need to put together the announcements that will be included in tomorrow's newsletter (well, actually today's newsletter given the time).

This type of partying is hard work. But someone has to do it even if I did whimp out on the early side.

One thing I can tell you. There was a ton of broken glasses on the ground. A sure sign of a lot of people having just a little too much of a good time.
