Default Single page vs Multiple page

Hello, I have recently read an article about a single page and despite the many pros, the disadvantages of being unable to position on different phrases of different subpages seem weak. However, in such a competitive industry, innovation is worth considering. Lack of content is no longer a problem with current single page solutions, it can be full of content. It is certainly easier to maintain and update this page and you can focus on marketing.
In theory, it seems great, but in practice I think that in our industry it works average, I saw only a few one page that were high in search results.

So what do you think about the topic single page vs multiple page?

There's a difficulty to it, that's for sure. One page sites are efficient and direct to potential consumers. On the other hand its challenging to SEO with a one page design. Leaves a bit of a conundrum. My best advice would be to make your homepage resemble a one page site, but have your subpages to maintain SEO. Just some friendly advice that might potentially help

I was about to make the same comment Is the OP the same person?

It worked in the early days, when the industry 1'st started.
Throw up a page with very thin content, and banners, then make $10K+ a month, no sweat.

But that was 20 years ago!

A lot of these ranking, seo and dev questions seem to originate, and are discussed, in reference to mainstream sites.

    Not igaming.

I'm sure if someone was selling Black-Widgets with attached Pink Bow Ties, a one page site would rank well.

Kills me that google's single web page shouldn't rank at all yet they dictate rules for everone else. The fact tha google now follows javascript should open the door for a single page possibility though i would think.

theoretically, you can set different H tags, anchors and others in a single page so that Google and other search engines treat these sections as separate subpages.

You can test a single page if you have time but, I haven't seen a single page ranking in serp. Also if you make links then you don't have link diversity to other URLs. If you have a lot of KW to target I would use multiple pages. Google may like your inner page
