I'm very pleased to announce that the GPWA forums can now be directly accessed from a variety of mobile phones. Currently supported mobile platforms include iPhone, Android, Nokia and Blackberry.
Information about how to install the mobile application on these platforms to enable mobile access can be found on the web at www.tapatalk.com/en/mobile. The application (called tapatalk), developed by the third-party mobile application development firm, is free for read-only access to forums, and has a small fee for the full version that also supports creating and replying to posts and private messages.
It is said that pictures are worth a thousand words, so here are six pictures accessing the GPWA forums using an iPhone and a BlackBerry Storm. Certainly a lot less work than composing a six thousand word post, and probably less boring too.
Tapatalk application directory on an iPhone showing the GPWA forum as a favorite
Navigating to a specific GPWA forum on the iPhone
Drilling down and seeing forum posts within the GPWA announcements forum on the iPhone
Looking at a list of recent posts on a BlackBerry Storm
Drilling down to viewing the iGB Down Under thread in recent posts. Note the Reply and Quote options.

I think this application is pretty cool. I hope you do too.
