GPWA Member Pages Expanded to Include Additional Member Names

Sometimes GPWA members have had a series of member names over time. Usually we only allow folks to have a single active GPWA identity at once. However, particularly in the case of affiliate managers, it is common to adopt a new member name when switching from one program to another because of a desire to keep posts made on behalf of different affiliate programs separated from one another.

We have now expanded the information we can show on member profile pages to include additional member names that have been used by the same person.

As one example, Maria Florides works with the GPWA now, and goes by GPWA Maria in the forums. But before she found a home here she worked as an affiliate manager for well over ten years for a number of different programs. So now, her current member page located here:

has a new section listing her previous member names with links to the corresponding member pages:

Our goal is to make it easy to understand when someone's involvement in the GPWA spans across multiple GPWA member accounts, and to be able to find all of the posts they have made over time.

While the ability to do this in now fully implemented, the work to relate member names to one another is an ongoing project that will take time to complete. In the meantime, please let us know if there are specific member accounts that should be associated with one another, and we will make those specific requests a priority.
