Cool GPWA Times 300th Email Newsletter Published Today!

I'm very pleased to announce that today's issue of the GPWA Times e-mail newsletter is the 300th! The very first issue of the newsletter was sent out on the 9th of November 2006 and today it is sent out to nearly 10,000 people like clockwork every week.

When we originally began publishing the GPWA Times newsletter our goal was to provide the affiliate marketing community with quality news reporting and to foster the growth of a strong, more connected, GPWA community. And when I look back at the GPWA then versus now I can say with pride, on behalf of all of us, "We've come a long way, baby!"

In terms of the GPWA Times newsletter, we've published well over two thousand news stories, we've published over one hundred interviews with affiliates and affiliate managers. We've highlighted what's gone on in the forums, made over 600 announcements regarding what's happening at the GPWA, and included a question every week for you to share your thoughts with fellow GPWA members.

Back in November 2006 the GPWA had a total of less than 4,000 forum registrations. Today total forum registrations have passed the 15,000 mark.

A big thanks to everyone who is part of the GPWA for making this possible. Without our affiliate members the GPWA would have no purpose, and without the support of our sponsor affiliate programs we would not be able to serve our affiliate members.

The folks involved in producing the GPWA Times newletter each week deserve a special thanks. Vin Narayanan leads the charge in his role as editor in chief. Senior editor Aaron Todd does most of the heavy lifting, program manager Steven Corfman covers sponsor news and announcements, and copy editor Bill Riley helps make sure we don't embarrass ourselves too badly or too often.

    Thanks everyone!

Congrats! I'm sure we all receive craploads of e-mails and newsletters but I always make a point of looking through the gpwa newsletters. It is one of a very small number of newsletters that I find useful and regularly follow links from. Has today's gone out yet?

    Thumbs up

Congrats on reaching this milestone! I'm new in the industry and GPWA has been my go-to source for industry information that's both engaging and enormously helpful...keep up the great work!

BTW, Michael, loved your interview with Bodog's Becky Liggero on the future of online gambling in the U.S. market!
