Default Android air is latest microgaming mobile casino product

Online gambling software & games developer Microgaming has launched its latest mobile casino product, Android Air.

The new offering is an Adobe Air-based application, available for use with tablets & smartphones running on Android. The platform comes with a starting game package of 8 top quality casino games from the provider, which has plans to deliver at least 20 or more games before the end of 2011.

Much like MicrogamingEUR™s popular Viper casino software, new games will be automatically added via a process which is connection state aware, so players can choose to do these updates via WiFi rather than 3G.

Games are available via a slick, user-friendly lobby, & fully revamped banking & registration modules are also available.

The underlying architecture has been updated & connection now links directly with the gaming server, allowing the deployment of MicrogamingEUR™s comprehensive suite of acquisition & retention tools such as Bonus Balance, Player Grouping, Player Communication Manager & VPB an online Virtual Pitboss that allows instant trigger based messaging & promotions.

Neill Whyte, head of product channels at Microgaming said this week: EURњMobile has been a key part of MicrogamingEUR™s strategy for the past few years & we already enjoy a strong market share with our existing suite of products. The explosion of mobile gaming over the last 12 months, driven largely by the increased adoption of smartphones in developing countries, represents a huge opportunity for providers.

Also curious to know if any mobile affiliates are promoting microgaming mobile casino products, and what the results are.

The press release is dated 08 November 2011, I guess they have an Android version by now.
