About LinkBacksReuters is reporting Greece will auction off up to 50 online gambling licenses, according to the country's finance ministry.
From Reuters:
The government plans to auction 15 to 50 licences for online gambling, which is currently illegal in the country, with a duration of five years, according to a draft bill presented at a cabinet meeting.

I'm puzzled on how are they to auction such gambling license without the British government blocking them? Can this illegal auction push through?

Is it going to be like, best offer wins a license? That's not very square and aboveboard IMHO.

Yeah right, funny how would their government auction online gambling licenses considering that it is illegal in their country. And if ever said auction happens, do they think that 50 licenses are enough for all the online gambling sites in their country.
