I am brand new to the indusrty...

http://www.cashatcasinos.com

Am i on the right tracks with my site??

I have had it up for about a month and only have a google PR of 3.

I am busy doing the link exchange thing. (actually just writing a php/mysql link manager)

can anybody offer me some tips on getting some paying customers or even ranked in SE's

any help will be muchly appreciated

Ta

Don't worry your site is fine
Maybe just try to make a different logo a bit: http://www.cityclubcasino.com/

I have my site up for 3 years and I have PR0 try to beat that

[tylerd]

ok - understood on the logo thang - i'll get it redone soon.
Can anybody offer me some tips on actually getting some customers?
I am working on getting ranked in google and inktomi etc.
I have also bought some traffic...no results from that so far though...

What is the best way to get paying people to me? should i rely on search engines?
I do have a slight benefit there as i work for an isp in the SEO dept.
I dont want to spend alot of effort there if there is a more efficient way of doing it....

any bones you throw will be glady accepted.

you seem to have covered most aspects on the seo front. The obligatory
spam directory for your picture files, use of header tags,z layers too (tut tut),your the ceo expert but would it not be better to optimise for one key
phrase instead of stuffing every gambling term you can think of in there.

very surprised that you have not made use of the alt tags though.you could also increase the text sixe in the header tag as well..

You might want to start here. I have better then t1 connection and it took 5-6 seconds to open.

I'd put someone other than a referback casino on top. They can be really hard to convert at first.

[tylerd]

Hi ALL - thanks for the replies - really appreciated.
Looks like i have some work to do then...
what casinos can anybody recomend?
I currently have referback, bethecasino, vegaspartner.

What method has the best results for getting purchasing customers?
I understand that some methods are peoples secrets but if anybody can offer a few pointers it'd great.

i've read that i shouldnt have affil links on my main page, is this right?
i should have my graphics pointing to a forwarding script/page??

Cheers

[VPJunkie]

Hmmm... I have aff links all over my front pages.

As to good programs, there are banners here at the board and a list of good programs on our home page at www.GPWA.org

Ya know, I would, but you've got some nasty links on your front page there - "streetblowjob"?? You need to stick with gambling only sites on your front page links.

[chill]

Yup, also loose those cellphone links aswell.

And once again, drop the banners.
