Default Guys need you input on this

I've got a few sites and twitter pages that are already indexed. However they haven't rank anywhere for the keywords I target, even though they have considerable amount of backlinks and anchor texts. One thing that came to mind is that they're all still at PR 0. Could this be the main cause of that? Could a higher PR helps your site rank for your targeted keyword after it's been indexed?

Hi there, not really sure which sites you're describing....but a few issues come to mind, particularly with hosting.

If your using shared hosting you might have one or several spammer websites on the same IP and not know it....its best to serve it on a separate IP address.

Alternatively, if your sites are interlinked while sitting on the same server/IP, this could be detrimental. Godaddy has a $3/month plan to separate your IP. Its not ideal but it works.

Feel free to contact me with more questions

    Kind Regards,
    Ron

PR has very little thing to do when it comes to ranking your websites. The idea is, your target keyword maybe is a very competitive keyword, and the backlinks from the sites linking to you are not that strong enough.
