Handling Casino Software

Now that a lot of casinos are offering games from multiple providers, whats the best way of handling this from a categorisation perspective?

Using Cryptologic as an example, I can think of three different ways to list casinos by software. So for the cryptologic casino page I could:

1. Only list casinos that have the full suite of cryptologic games (eg: intercasino)
2. List all casinos that have any cryptologic games (eg: intercasino and 888 )
3. Have a primary list of casinos with the full suite, and then a secondary list lower of the page for "casino that offer selected cryptologic games" (eg: intercasino in the primarly list, and 888 in a secondary list)

Any thoughts? I'm working on a new site and the lists will be generated from the database so I need to get it set up right.

Good question - no idea is the answer. Everyone's opinions differ.

I would personally go for option 2

I think Number 2 for sure then some casinos will just appear in multiple lists, you can't go for no1 as the information would be inaccurate, no3 gets a bit complicated for players to navigate, I would keep it simple

The problem with that option is that many casinos would show up on a software list when they only offer a small handfull of games. From a players perspective that's not ideal, right?

I see your point, its not ideal :/ But if you go for number 3 more basic sites will be getting the better positions surely?

I think by game is even more complicated, you would need the biggest drop down menu ever if you wanted to feature all games and update CONSTANTLY

Actually I already have a site that does it by slot, or rather it I will once it's finished. The frame work is it just needs the slots & casinos entered: http://www.goodslotsguide.com/

This is for a more general casino site though and I want to catagorise by software for players who want to search that way.

I don't think that a casino that only offers one software provider is more basic - just look at 32red, they're only MG.

But in the case of inter vs say... virgin. If they player loves cryptologic and wants to play at a crypto casino, the better recommendation for them is inter, surely? There's plenty of crypto features that virgin wouldn't offer such as the tournaments, multi player games etc..

On the flip side, if they want crypto just because they like playing the marvel slots, then maybe virgin is a better fit. I think at the end of the day it comes down to what the user is looking for, but I don't know how to anticipate that to cover all angles.
