Thanks for all the birthday wishes!

I've been enjoying an extended birthday. I had a nice dinner with my mother's side of the family on Wednesday, with two old friend who I hadn't seen in several years coming over to visit. Then last night I went over to GPWA Bryan's place for pizza and board games. And tonight we're having a nice family dinner celebration on my father's side of the family, which will be a combined birthday dinner for me and my sister Emma (whose birthday is January 7th).

I guess the rule must be one night for each decade being celebrated.
