It's just a shame that the lumen database is such as POS, otherwise you could just query that periodically...

I'm assuming you're just running a script to check this?

Yes, I pull all casinos from my db, and list of main pages, then check site:URLS via proxy to see if they are indexed.

As in check them manually or are you automating it via a script?

I guess something like index checker could be used for this rather than building and maintain a script, quite cheap too.

We regularly send appeals for these fake DMCA notices. Sometimes we receive a reply within minutes saying that our URL has been restored.
But the problem is that for some URLs, we’ve been waiting almost a month.
What should we do in this case? Does it help if we resend the appeal from another Google account, or should we send the appeal regularly, like once a day? Waiting a month seems kind of long.
Maybe someone can share some advice on what we should do in this situation?

We tried submitting an appeal through the link provided in Google Search Console and received the following response: “Hello, Thanks for reaching out to us. We have already responded to, or are in the process of responding to, your request to restore the following URLs…”

We waited about a month and submitted another appeal, but received the same response. We then tried submitting an appeal through the direct appeal link, with the same result.

At this point, I’m really not sure what else we can do. The DMCA claim is completely false and fabricated. We provided all the evidence, including screenshots from the Internet Archive, showing that we are the original publisher, but none of the URLs have been restored yet.

yes thats an automated response, you need to respond to that with the actual information from google that they can not keep the pages de listed without proof of legal action

    Hey allfreechips,
Really appreciate you being gracious and sharing your tips on this issue. I hate to keep bugging you but in your appeal responses, do you notice a trend of any "trigger" words that correlate to having Google send the automated response "After review, we've determined your page doesn't violate... yadda yadda".?

I suspect their entire system for handling this is completely automated. And perhaps certain language (forceful) causes their system to accept the appeal. Back when this first started I'd file the appeal, get the message it is under review, and then shorty after that have the notice that the appeal was granted.

Today, Google has been much better getting notices out asap and sometimes there is a window when the URL hasn't been deindexed yet. But I'm not getting that last appeal granted message and we all know Google isn't going to review these appeals timely if at all.

This whole situation pisses me off so much; I've just begun to redirect URLs to /xxx1 and then when that gets popular again the scammers target that and repeat. Sign me up for the class action lawsuit, this is completely absurd Google hasn't resolved this fraudulent illegal problem or even shows any desire to fix it.

no the only advice i see is that a single one page appeal is better than a group appeal

We managed to recover it after sending them a few appeals again and again. I don’t know exactly how it works, whether there’s a human reviewing these issues or some AI/bot processing the appeals. But my advice is: if you receive an automated reply from them, send the appeal again anyway, despite the fact that they tell you not to resubmit the URL.

The appeals process works very well. For most issues, we receive a notification with a direct link to submit an appeal.

The main problem is that some pages are removed for the same reason without any notification. These cases are still difficult to discover, but once we find them, we can usually appeal them as well.
