Hi All,

I am new to the forum and have been researching for a while now,

I have always been interested in sports betting and affiliate marketing, and the last 6 months I divided a plan on how I would like my website to go.

I am opting for a more modern, clean website, simple and to the point.

Providing a few tips that are updated daily for people to come back to, I want to attract new and retain customers.

Please check it out and be honest and open with your review, I will take all feedback into account on how to develop and move the business forward.

I also have the URL thebestbookmakers.co.uk which currently redirects to my tipping page however it will soon be its stand alone site where I will market as a bookmaker directory.

not all links are live yet as I am still slowly building my affiliate portfolio.

I would also like to add my SEO knowledge is appalling and am currently relying on my twitter profile and another "tipping twitter page"

I plan on marketing offline as well as on, Football grounds, programmes and have been in contact with football forums to place adverts on there website to generate traffic.

When twitter is in full swing I have roughly 100 new visits per day, but when going solo I struggle get above 10.

My sign ups are non-existent too, I have 3 across all platforms, not generating revenue.

I made the website myself, and I am self-taught in that field. I have only been producing websites about 3 months,

First thought are work on your mobile view, mine does not appear to work! Possibly checking in different views.

From a tipping perspective, a little more info may be good.

Before Adverts and football grounds get the basics right on the site! I would say from twitter 80/90% of your viewers will be mobile.

Thank you for your info! I have just added a Profit/loss/history page for the tipping side of things that will be updated from today onwards

The mobile site works for me fine, however a few people have told me it doesn't work, and others have said it is very clear. It is something I will have to look into.

Of course before I spend money on SEO and advertising I do indeed plan to get the website as perfect as possible with good content.

I am new to SEO and website building in general so will be doing ALOT of research into SEO, how it works and how to get good results with keywords etc, ALL of that is new to me... the most important part to drive traffic I know.

I'm using FireFox to access your site. When I access your inner pages, for example; xhttp://www.thebesttips.co.uk/casino your site keeps getting stuck when I try to scroll down the page. I'll scroll down a little and then the site gets stuck and freezes. Then a few seconds later, the site allows me to scroll down a little bit more before getting stuck and freezing again.

The same thing happened to me when I visited the page sweetbet listed.

This is likely due to poor wix code as well as a use of large heavy artwork and a good bit of the video screen shots coming from youtube and elsewhere.

Even after the first visit, re-visiting the site (even in the same browser session) sees very slow load times.

If you intend to take advantage of the mailing list (with newsletters & offers etc.) i must admit that the subscription widget is poorly placed in the bottom of the page without matching the layout of the main body.
I would replace the little Facebook Share button with a Facebook Like box or change to something more visible. Perhaps a side scrolling widget.
You should also fix this typo in your footer:

In your football tips section. when you hover the mouse over the Choose Bookmaker button it turns darker but i don't think it is that visible.
That's just my quick thoughts, hope they help you a bit

I think blue background doesnt suit your site/ and gold color should be brighter
