Hi,

I'd like to start by introducing myself to this forum. My apologies if this is not the place for it. I am sure it will be moved to the right section.

My name is Daniel van Dijkman and I am the marketing manager for VIP management services. Currently managing some of the top sportsbooks and casinos like Betgameday, VIP, WSSB, goodasgoldcasino and more.

VIPmanagement services recently launched http://www.vipprofits.com. To my honest opinion one of the most innovative sportsbook and casino affiliate programs around on the web today.

Like with the launch of any software, there are always bugs that need to be solved after launch. I'd like to express my appreciation to many loyal affiliates that are of great help to us. Thank you for your patience!

I have some questions

When are we gonna get the feeds like we used to have with GameDay/Bet19??

The feeds that used to work with our old links at gameday (such as upcoming races) suddenly stopped sending the tracking through on clicks...will this be fixed?

The feeds that you do offer to the sites do not track thru with the affiliate codes....how soon with this be fixed?

I questioned this recently and was simply told...(Don't use them)

I understand the problem. Our software provider told me they are working on it. Unfortunately it is out of my control now.

I asked them to change the tracking option or just completely remove it, so affilaites can use their own tracked "sign up" buttons around the feed.

Let me make clear that the feed still works. It is only the 'button' at the top that does not track anymore. If you feel this is is unacceptable, please do not use the feed.

I apologize for the inconvenience. I will let all affiliates know when this is working again.

And I agree that although it wouldbe BEST if there was an embedded affiliate link within the feed, it would be acceptable if the feed were not clickable and we could easily place a visit button.

Hey...I got a workaround for ya....or at least a way to help webmasters with the workaround.

Show the affiliates how to use the iframe inside a table and show them a cell with an embedded (visit now) link. Explain all they have to do is use the code as so, or with minor adjustments, and to add their tracking code...i understand this would take a bit of effort and time, but more webmasters might use the feed if so.

Also, can you PLEASE add an upcoming races feed?? I would really like to have one that I could direct traffic to VIP Horses....

I prefer all links track both clicks and signups...but we do live with what we can get.

You betcha....

Now all we gotta do is either make the link to the site carry the affiliate link....OR have absolutely no link embedded in the code at all...

I know from the Book's side of it, they're gonna want it to be clickable... but if the affil code is not embedded, I really don't want to use a clickable link.

Now...how can we work this out?? Is there anything we can do on the affiliates side to help make accelerate this ijn becoming a reality?

Another idea.

I think it would be reasonable, if the properties would require a link back to the site...maybe in another cell in a table etc..

An example with the upcoming races code...remove the clickable link from the code...but require the affiliate that they MUST have at least a text link advertising the site for which it is intended...in the example above VIP Horses...in the general proximity of the feed and giving credit to said site.

I appreciate your help in this matter and I'm sure something can obviously be done, but from the Affiliates side, the thing we would prefer the most is that our affil id be embedded in to any and links somehow.

I certainly am not gonna invest all kinds of time and try and work out any kind of XML solution if my link is not embedded...and the iframe is a decent enough solution for the time being...provided we can get the code in it.

I just sent an other followup to the software company to have the "enter" button romoved. This will be a temp solution.

Also, I expect to have the Iframe code (with live lines in there) on VIPprofits soon. I will highlight, the code that needs to be edited by the affiliate. (e.g. URL, campaign ID etc) This is as easy as I can make it now.

The only thing you need to do is copy&paste it into your page.

This will - without a doubt - be one of the major areas for development.

I already have part of it worked out....

...but i look forward to fully working code that is fully trackable for clicks and signups for the affiliate...

I will send you a link in pm so you can see if this is acceptable...and if so you can steal some of it to give the affiliates...

Some excellent points Rick. Frankly, I like the idea of just removing all the links in the feeds. It keeps things simple (always best) and it works just as well to put banners and text links around the feed. Even if you can fix the links, I would prefer that option.

Daniel, I know you guys have a lot on your plate, but you might want to put some new GameDay football banners at the top of the list - the current ones are a little old. And, emails to all the inactive players reminding them of their account and offering a small free bet. Bettors are starting to look around for a sportsbook now and most of them will stick with whatever sportsbook they are using at the start of the season.

Hi Ed,

IGW is working on removing all links in the feed. Also, the live line feed within an I frame will be available on www.vipprofits.com within the next two days.

Re the banners. I think you overlooked them. Login to VIPprofits, and select betgameday as a merchant, click continue and there are the latest NFL banners.

For your convenience we have place the full code of an Iframe with our live lines feed in it on our website.

Please go to: www.vipprofits.com > resource center > VIP tools > live lines.

This will be an easy copy&paste for anyone that want to display our merchants live lines. The only thing you need to change is the merchants URL and your campaign ID.

Hopefully the "enter" button will be removed from that feed soon.

Please keep us updated on the staus of the codes when they are updated to remove the link to the sites, can we assume the race/score/line itself will not hotlink to the property as well?

We thank you for the fast action on working with us on this.

Now....let's talk about landing pages....

Obviously, if I am marketing to Horse Racing enthusiasts, I will want to recommend VIP Horses, but you wouldn't want me to leave out the other properties...so...

If I am sending a visitor to BetGameDay, and using a creative for Boxing, (by the way some of us want creatives for this sport) it would be ideal if the visitor landed on a page that prominently promoted Boxing!

Now I understand that some of the sports are very seasonal, and if you think this idea has any merit it may be difficult to impliment, but I think it could help EVERYONE'S conversions. As an example, let's say it's the day before the Superbowl, and I may have a visitor coming from a boxing site because there is a big fight the following weekend....I have a better shot of converting that visitor if I send him to a targeted boxing related page than I do if I send him to BetGameDay's home page...which I'm sure will be full of football related content the day before the game.

The logistics of implementing something like this could be difficult at first, but I think the benfits could be quite large.

I agree 100% that different landing pages will benefit all of you (and us)
We are currently working on a new design for the VIPsports homepage. Which will have more flexibility during the season. However this will not take away that we will probably not have a boxing theme during football.

This is something I want to investigate. We are in the process of hiring an other webdesigner that could help out with these kind of requests. It will mainly be a limitation from our software provider I am afraid. For now, there is very little I can do about this.

OK Folks...

In case you haven't noticed...VIP Profits has been attempting to handle any and all of our concerns and questions and requests as fast as just about any other program group represented here. I think this says a lot for how much they value the affiliates.

I personally want to thank vandijkman for all he has done so far....

I agree Rick. I also like the excel file they send telling you of any new players for the prior week AND they sent me an email when I had a new depositor.

What I don't like though is that only banner clicks are tracked for you to see. You can't see how many text clicks you have sent.

Coach, re the tracking of textlinks, that is #1 on my list for a version 2.0. I will keep everyone posted on these kind of developments. Meanwhile, please do email me with any other suggestions you have.
