Great choice! I was going to say that one, I noticed mostly everyone went in that direction as well. Nicely done a good luck!
Why not just buy both, develop both and get all of the traffic for both?

Gambling Domains: Small clear out of some of the domains we've been hoarding - see the spreadsheet here.
All things being equal, I would pick a two word domain over a three word domain.
LondonCasinos is much more memorable.
I have a fear of trying to build a brand on anything that isn't .com or .co.uk though - The thought of users wanting to find my .org and typing .com scares me![]()
Having said that, I know a site that ranks very well on a .me.uk domain. Google UK seems to give a LOT of weight to EM CC TLDs.
Interested in quality, relevant link exchanges and deals, especially with UK sites.
go for london casinos sounds make better. did u made a keyword research ?
If i were in your position i would go with :LondonCasinos.org.uk
this thread is directly relevant to a query I have actually.
if you have both domain names(.com and .co.uk for the same name like, say, , pokersoccer.com and pokersoccer.co.uk), what is the best thing to do from these two-
1-use both domains and lay them out the same, but make the content slightly different (alot of work yes?)
or
2-Set your site up on one, and redirect the other to it.
For option two, does the search engine see the redirected address as having the same content as the main site? This has always confused me!![]()

hey baldidiot, just had a look at your site. Im no wordpress expert, but someone who really knows what they are on about checked out a site that i had made with that theme you are using from woothemes , and said the code was absolute ****. I also had alot of problems with it- trying to change things around, and it has major limitations. Just letting you know anyway dude. The site looks pretty good all the same to me right now.
Depends. You could have two unique but related sites aimed at two different markets - eg: have the .com as an international site and the .uk as a UK targeted site. Or you could pick one and 301 the other to it.
When you redirect a domain to another it isn't seen as two sites with the same content as you're ending up at a final destination URL - eg: sitea.com redirects to siteb.com, you end up on siteb.com.
This shouldn't be confused with web services that frame the site on the second URL - eg: you're seeing siteb.com's content but still on sitea.com's URL. This would be seen as dupe content and should be avoided - make sure you use a 301 redirect.
I've used it on a couple of sites and it seems ok. I don't bother using the control panel or theme settings to move things, I just go in and butcher the code so I get it how I want it.
It's only a ****-about site so probably not worth it, although a london casino blog for other purposes isn't a bad idea. I'll add it to my (ever growing) list - cheers bud!
I used to think that, but if you google 'casinos london' and 'casinos in london' you get pretty different results (albiet with some simlarities) so now I'm not sure.
Also in case anyone's curious, thanks to googles current love of ccTLD's it popped straight in on the first page of google.co.uk for 'london casinos'.

the bookiesoffers/baldidiot, thanks for coming back to me, really appreciate it.
The bookiesoffers- that sounds like a good idea- to put a blog on the .com for international users with links to the .co.uk, and target the .co.uk at the UK.
one thing thing that confuses me though is what would you put on that other blog? As in, how does one blog about free bets etc.? haha. For example, would you have affiliate links on there aswell, or only links to the .co.uk?
Baldidiot, on the 301 redirect thing- does that virtually waste a domain name? One concept i cant seem to get to grips with is whether or not someone in say Australia searches the original example 'pokersoccer'. Will they ever see the pokersoccer.com domain in their results, or will they only see .co.uk?
To put it another way,; if i redirect the .com to the .co.uk, is the only usefulness of the .com then simply on the off chance that someone types into their browser-pokersoccer.com?
I hope i'm being clear, if i'm not please have patience with me!![]()
it really depends on how much work you want to put into, say you are going down the 'free bets' line. What you could do is have that site all set up and optimized and then write about bookies latest betting offers on the blog deep linking then to each relevant free bet page. If you are doing it for pure seo purposes then i wouldn't bother placing affiliate links on there as you'll just reduce the link juice going back to your money site
Just to add about the redirect as well if the .com previously had a site on it and had links pointing to it the all that benefit just about will go to the .co.uk, if not then you are right about just typing the domain in, and I wouldn't worry about Aussies seeing the .co.uk site in their searched if it is a fairly competitive phrase as you have already basically told google you are a UK site

that sounds like a good idea. I suppose I could write about the emails that we get sent from the different bookmakers couldn't we, where they talk about new offers they have out each week. Have you seen any sites using this method recently for any type of affiliate program? (gambling/non gambling).
Also, do you lose link juice if you do no follow links?
Thanks again mate.
