Site Map Generators?

I was wondering what the best site map generator is? I'm trying http://www.freesitemapgenerator.com/ but its been in queue for a few days now ..... The free ones are pretty much limited to 500 pages .....

I have used a number of them.

Phpsitemapng is one, and also sitemapbuilder.net

Phpsitemapng is ok once you get it all set up.....

I am sure there will be a number of other suggestions to follow.

Free version of WEBCEO is pretty good as well. An all in one package xml, html, ect...

Not sure if can do 500 pages never tried.

I use RAGE sitemap generator. You can set rules to exclude certain pages. It works very well of normal sites. For wordpress sites I would recommend a plugin.

Wow, I have not ever looked at Rage that I can remember.

What I like about phpsitemapng is that it follows robot.txt file for normal exclusions.

It lists the pages as normally skipped, but if you want them in the map, select them and it will rmember your selections.

The same holds true for pages you don't want in the map as well.

I use the phpsitemapng on all my sites (I think Rick recommended it to me years back) Very happy with it as well. I like the auto ping to big G after it creates the map and that it allows you to review the generation prior to creation.
