Homepage as money page

We're just developing a new site and wondered what peoples' thoughts are on making the homepage the main money page and also on how long the homepage should be?

Hmmm, it's not that niche but in general our HPs tend to have most authority/rank/whatever you want to call it so seems to make sense.

It does make sense to have a main page as a landing page if we can call it like that. But it should be pretty informative.

Make whatever page they land on the money page.. every post or page is an opportunity to convert
