Hosting Advice

Hello fellow members,
I'd like some help on hosting. I've read that some of you recommend knownhosting as a gambling-friendly host but upon checking them out, I've found this line in their policy about prohibited activities:
"promotes illegal drugs, violates export control laws, relates to illegal gambling, or illegal arms trafficking;"
Are they safe for an affiliate casino site or not. If not which host is?

I use knownhost and they're fine with it. I think that illegal gambling refers to unlicensed casinos & sportsbooks.

Is it indeed fast? I have a wordpress blog in another vertical on Hostgator and it is slow.

Affiliate marketing sites are different from actual casinos. Also, many cheap hosts are concerned with the impact of high traffic on their crumbling shared over loaded servers.

Get a proper host, CDN and this issue should become a non-issue.

You can always use GoDaddy (https://au.godaddy.com/)

They're good and not too expensive. They also have no problem with anything gambling related.

I don't know about shared hosting, but the VPS hosting package that I'm using is fast.

I went to godaddy after all. It seems surprisingly fast. Got a shared hosing for Ł12 for a year.

GoDaddy OK.

Avoid BlueHost at any cost... This hosting can close your websites at their own discretion.

I never had any luck with godaddy speed wise nor cost wise!!

So GoDaddy surely accepts gambling sites? I realized they only have customer support by phone though, is that right? Sounds a bit weird. Also, I was wondering if anyone has any idea about how to move their BlueHost site to Godaddy?
