Default Hosting for multiple Wordpress sites

The question i am getting often what hosting would be best for hosting multiple WP sites.

    1) for mainly european traffic
    2) worldwide traffic
    3) one that offers cpanel too

    What hosting would you recommend?

    depends on the $$$ spend.

For newbs who don't want to spend a lot, and want to play around - www.bluehost.com
    Wordpress Recommends them.

euro traffic - not sure who has cheap Euro based shared hosting servers.

They're the same company as UK2.net, who I use for a few sites. I also have a VPS with them.

Up until last month I would have said they were excellent, but I've been having a few problems with them recently. It's all sorted now, but it was a PITA.

Highly recommend Bluehost. Excellent uptime and load times and very intuitive.
I wouldn't touch UK2 with a bargepole, had lots of problems with them in the past.
    Avoid GoDaddy too.

I use 4 or 5 hosts now and I also agree with bluehost, I have used them for almost a year now. I also highly recommend dedicloud VPS with unlimitedwebhosting.co.uk. Best UK hosting I have had in 12 years!

I've heard so many great things about bluehost.com I think either them or liquidweb.com. I'd steer clear of low quality budget hosting companies

Suprised to say I have never used Bluehost, they do have a lot of recommendations.

For UK hosting mine would be Xilo.net - never ever had a problem with these guys.

thanks guys.. will be checking it out.. posted the same on another forum and these recommendation i got too:

    eukhost.com
    antagonist.nl
    kniestmultimedia.nl

I do agree with that cheap commercial solutions (including updates) are not suitable.

I am not sure how good they are in the UK, but HostGator is very good for Wordpress hosting as well.
I have been using them for a long time and have had great experiences.

I know it's an old thread but just stumbled upon it from a google search researching good hosting for gambling sites and want to make a correction to what was said here:
Please always read the Terms of Use of each hosting when you consider using one as hosts often prohibit gambling related sites.

Hostgator and Bluehost explicitly state that they do NOT allow gambling and lottery related content hosted on their server so I would NOT advice using them for igaming affiliate sites. They are decent hosts for any other niche but your account gonna get suspended using it for gambling sites.

I think siteground is really good and price worthy option. I use a private host from a guy who helped me get my page speed up. It's really good, fast and reliable.

Totally agree about Siteground - we use it since last year and they are excellent. We are currently on DigitalOcean with our main sites but going forward we will be using Siteground. Their support assured us that they have no problem with gambling niche content. The support and speed is unmatched and the Wordpress tools they provide are comprehensive. They also have a staging environment feature which we will be heavily using.

I wrote up a quick review post on our blog about the igaming friendly hosts, you guys may find it useful: https://vegashero.co/best-hosting-co...tent-websites/
We have tried and tested these companies so you get first hand info.
