How do you control the click amounts?

Hi folks,

This question migth be an affiliate marketing 101 kind of question but i could come to the position where the click numbers got high amounts only recently.

I used to mask affiliate links like this : abc.com/go/xyzbet
Now i wanted to try bitly.com/goxyzbet which i shortened affiliate links.

As soon as i swap this, i see that the click numbers in bitly.com account is much much higher than the xyzbet affiliate panel shows! As i doubled check bitly.com stats are instant. Lets assume affiliate panel clicks update certain time later but still in the end of the day click numbers doesnt fit each other and there is huge difference.

Before i show up to aff. Managers i want to do double check with Google event tracking. Thats only way i found so far.

My question is to you guys how do you ensure your all clicks from your sites are counted and registered in affiliate panel? Is there any platforms has bad reputation for this issue that you encountered?

You can not, thats the short answer. Also how you count clicks vs how the casino countes clicks may vary huge. They may not count the same IP thatw as already used ext.. known bots, repeats ext..
