Default How do you feel about using the word 'Vegas'?

Do you use the word Vegas on your sites? Some programs have Vegas branded properties.

With the US laws ever evolving ad nauseam, I wonder. I see new online properties using it. I wouldn't be surprised to see Vegas use some muscle.

Is it ok? What do you think?

It's an interesting thread. Considering the name of the geographical location is Vegas/Las Vegas, I would think it's pretty hard for them to use any muscle?

I feel fine using it, it is a location, brand, and key phrases. You can also buy a .eu domain instead of .com and host It on a server In the US. if you have doubts,

Lol. Use some muscle for what? To patent the use of the word Vegas? Can't see that happening any time soon nor ever.

    See: Kentucky

Not so far fetched. The difference with Vegas as opposed to Kentucky is that Kentucky didn't want casinos to target their residents. Vegas also relies on a large tourist industry that I'm sure they don't want anyone else to target as well as their residents.

Not saying it will happen. Just a thought.

Kentucky feels like it was so long ago. I can't even remember how they managed to seize all those domains.
