How to get rid of auto-posting on Facebook Profile Page

Most of the times, this following message comes automatically on my profile :

Lina and XXXXX are now friends.

Does anyone know how to get rid of it ? Is there any way I can stop it posting on my profile page ?

Right now I just manually delete, whenever it comes up on my profile.

I checked my privacy settings, everything is okay, there. Could not find any option to stop this friends feed coming on the profile page.

Yeah I was looking for that option a while back, along with the "xxx commmented on xxx-who-you-ever-met's status" and it doesn't look like you can turn it off. Damn annoying clutter

Yes, its really annoying. Currently I do it manually everytime it pops up on my profile page.

That seems to be an application which you can control. But this I guess is inbuilt in the Facebook itself.

commented / replied to XXX show up
items i posted to groups or fans pages

- i like the following show up only
status update
new upload photos
photos tagged of me
items shared by me

Yes thatz what irritates me a lot - deleting it manually.
So I have decided not to add any friends from now on, as I am already close to 5000 friends. It seems you cannot have more than 5000 friends on facebook for one account.

how to block all fan's pages showing up at Likes and Interests on profile ?

i set all to "only me" on this page
Privacy Settings : Friends, Tags and Connections

All my fan pages still show up under
Likes and Interests : Other

A Bug ??
