How long does it take to get one subscriber?

Hello everyone.
I have a question for you.

I run a website where I update articles about online casinos in Japanese.（https://determination.jp/）
I update the site every day, but there are still not enough articles and no backlinking measures, so there is no access or revenue at all.

I would like to be able to generate registrations to the casino every day.
So, how many unique users do you think it takes to get one person to sign up for the casino every day?

Is it possible to get registrations even if there is little traffic if the quality of the content is good?
Do I need to increase the flow of traffic from SEO and SNS in the first place?

Hey,

That's a good question and I can even share some numbers for you to have a better picture. Of course your conversion rate will highly depend on what keywords lead visitors to your site, as these will determine what intention do the users have.
I started mi site exactly a year ago and I remember wondering how would it feel like to see my first registration, so are you at the moment.

In terms of backlinking - gambling is a highly competitive niche and backlinks are not given lightly, especially if you are looking to get them naturally. Obviously good content will generate them, however I would recommend you to look into artificial link building options. Legit(ish) ones of course - for example there are loads of people here who exchange links, some people have several sites, so your exchange doesn't always have to be reciprocal.
You can also research the forum a bit more and find out what are some good and relatively honest ways to get quality backlinks.

Now let's move over to the numbers I have:
Let's take my "Example Page 1", it gets roughly 300 clicks from Google in one month. Out of those 300 clicks around 120 users follow my aff link. And out of those 120 link followers I can get between 12 and 20 registrations. Out of those 15 (for example) hypothetical registrations around 5 people actually make a deposit during that month.

Obviously it will vary from one brand to another but (for me at least) the numbers are more or less like this everywhere.

...and you may well have to consider if there are any cultural differences here. I don't know, but for Japanese visitors you may need to present offers in a specific way that's more likely to appeal to them.

So a summary...

Yes you could get a sign up from one visitor (although I think you'll find that for casinos it's unlikely)

But most likely only if what you've shown them either answers their initial query or gains their interest over and above their initial query.

Query = the reason why they landed on your page in the first place.

As for the numbers, that's helpful. Excellent!
My site has about 320 hits from Google in the last month, but less than 10 visitors end up to the link.
I believe the lack of revenue is due to the fact that users who have already registered with the casino are visiting the site for knowledge.
Maybe I need to include a landing page for beginners to get registrants.

You could try to get a referral traffic to improve conversion.
That's not as much high and profitable as organic traffic but still you could earn some money.

It all depends on what your USP is? If you are offering something of an informational value to a product that alot of your visitors are already registered to then you are basically giving them your time and expertise for free... however, if your content is of a high-standard then that should improve the chances of return visitors... maybe look at more ways to monetise each article... tables with 5+ affiliate deals .... pop-ups with different offers when visitors attempt to leave your site.... if you keep adding the content at the same level of consistency and also introduce a backlink strategy then it will only be a matter of time before traffic will increase... just make sure by then that you have monetised all pages as best as you possibly can! Doing this as a hobby, it now took me 1 year to get my first acquisition. I don't have many visitors, about 100 a month.

But speaking in general, from my experience, you can expect a conversion rate of 0.5 - 1.5% which means you'd need at least 100 visitors a day to have a sign up every day.

Wow that seems like a lot of traffic!

Can that really be true is that a fair estemate what do you other people think?

Of course depending on quality and keyword and I understand it's hard to come up with exact numbers since there isnt.
