Default How to remove a malicious link from website free?

Hi, I've been informed by google that I have a malicious link on my website, they advised me what page the link was on, which was relating to a third party software, I removed this, but they are still telling me on a scan it's still on the site, is there a way to manually remove these free, I'm using wordpress, it appears not to be one of my links.

Well if you know what the link is that is bad, you can search your site (or database) for it and remove it manually.

If it is a link that you did not place there, but is placed without your knowledge, then you have a more serious issue, such as that your site might be hacked or compromised, or you might be using a plugin that has security flaws.

If you do not know how to search your site for a specific link, you can also try to use google's "link" operator. Go to a Google search and type:

    Link:domain.com linkyouarelookingfor.com

It may provide the page names that contain the link.

If you feel your site is compromised, there are other steps you should take, first and foremost, change your admin and ftp passwords immediately.

    Also you could use Ahrefs
Put the link you need to delete to Ahrefs dashboard and see the backlinks. Probably your site has to be among all websites linking to that page.
    After delete it manually.

I think Google's link:example.com search was removed a long time ago. It hasn't worked for me for years, I think.
