Default How to "stop" sent traffic

Is there anyway to stop outgoing traffic or at least some way to figure out where the traffic is coming from?

I guess let me explain, I am trying to get rid of traffic I send to Cashwave casinos. I have taken every link and so forth I can find but yet they still are getting traffic somewhere. If its from my main site is there anyway at all to find this info? maybe a page with info as to where my outgoing traffic goes to and from where?

btw: if you promote cashwave... dont! lmao

Do you keep a local copy of your sites? If so, just use the search within files function and look for the links. If not, download a complete backup of each site and then search. I have the same problem about sending to an expired link of a program. Every now and then I get an email saying to remove the link. Can't find it though.

Do Cashwave stats give details about the referrer page? Campaigns? Just a few possibilities to help track it down.

Has some-one scraped your site and left the links intact? Clicks would show in the Cashwave stats and you will not be able to find the links in your sites anywhere.

    Hi Diceman!

I would download Xenu link sleuth if I was in your situation. This tool will crawl your site in seconds telling you the exact outbound link and what pages on your site are linking to it.

I made a blog post about it a while back here http://www.davidmerry.co.uk/tools-yo...-without/xenu/ - have a read and learn the magic of Xenu!

I know I have said this a few times at GPWA, but I can't recommend this tool enough!

    Cheers,
    Dave

Like James said I would recommend searching the pages.

It could be like was said that it is from a scrappers page, but it could also be in a search engine cache somewhere also.

Try putting your URL + "cashwave" into google and see if anything comes back. Did you maybe create blog posts or articles on other sites with your link in them?
