    Default IA software suggestion/request

Just had a quick suggestion for a field in the IA stats that I've been meaning to mention for a while - is it possible to have a description of the tracking link next to the site ID field?

Checking by the ID# is fine when you only have a handful of links, but I often have 20 or more and it becomes a bit annoying having to scroll through a bunch to find out where the higher performing traffic is coming from.

    Just a thought!

    Hi baldidiot,

Thanks for your feedback, we really appreciate any suggestions that affiliates have for our system.

We will bring this up with our technical and development teams, to find out the possibility of adding that in to the reporting. I also just wanted to make sure I was looking at the right report; are you looking at the Banner Report or the Traffic Report? Also just quickly, what type of description would you like to see?

    Cheers

    Thanks

Just where ever the site ID field is shown - banner, traffic, and players reports all have the field and I have to scroll up to the drop down and hunt out which site that code refers to.

If if you want to keep it tidy it could just be something that shows up when you hover the mouse over the relevant ID, if that makes sense?

Thanks for clarifying, I can see what you mean and I'll definitely bring this up with our development and technical teams. If I understand you correctly you would like to see the name of the site on which the banner is placed. In the mean time there might be a a way in which you can filter the Earnings and Traffic report to get this information

If the above is correct, the Earnings and Traffic reports have ways in which you can filter to report to get in information you want without having to scroll up or down. The Earnings and Traffic reports have 5 tick boxes located on the bottom of the search criteria box.

    - Tick the box marked "Banners" and the filter will display results by active banner. The report will also show the corresponding sales activity.
    - Tick the box marked "Details" and the report will display the name of the affiliate site along with the corresponding sales activity.

I hope this allows to gain a little more insight will taking away the need to constantly scroll up to check the site. Also, If I was completely off the mark with what your where asking please tell me.

Oh right, yeah it is there for those. The report that initially led to me making this post is actually the player report which just has a field for Site ID and doesn't have the name like in the other reports (to be honest I didn't check those other ones and just assumed they were the same, so sorry about that).

But yeah, site name in the player report somehow (field or mouse over label) would be awesome!

I usually try and name the campaign with something that helps me identify it easily, so I have found IA stats to be pretty full featured.

I see what you mean about the Player and Banner reports. Seeing which site your better converting / lower converting players are coming from would really bring some good insights. I'll make sure to bring this up.
