iDeal as a payment solution

Hi guys,

You that work as affiliates with Holland as your key market - what would you say about iDeal as a payment solution. I always thought it was the "****" when it came to providing a service for players in the Neatherlands - but when players do come in they all use Paysafe card.

Is Paysafe card the most common deposit options and is iDeal just hyped or what is the situation?

I'm from Belgium, but as far as I know iDeal is very popular in the Netherlands. Almost every webshop or anything else you need to pay in the Netherlands has iDeal.

Yea that was my thought as well - but perhaps not seen a big enough number of transactions to see any real trends. Just surprised about the number of Paysafe cards cause it feels like it is not convenient at all.

And so, not surprisingly, people use PaySafeCard, Skrill, Neteller etc. But iDeal is a really convenient and necessary thing on the market.

Not sure if still relevant, but as far as I know Ideal is still the main payment method. some go through Trustly as well

Ik ben pas sinds kort op de Nederlandse markt, maar ik zie dat de populariteit van iDeal ongekend is. Persoonlijk ben ik van mening dat de leidende positie spoedig zal worden ingenomen door Trustly met Pay`n`Play-technologie. Naar mijn mening heeft het allemaal te maken met marktregulering.

Omdat ik de kracht van het ideaal in Nederland ten volle heb gewaardeerd, ben ik het met u eens. Echt, de pay and play technologie kan in oktober wat minder worden vanwege Cruks. Maar ik ben er zeker van dat ze oplossingen zullen vinden en een beetje met ideal zullen concurreren.

Verifiëren moet binnen 30 dagen na het aanmaken van een account. Dus Pay 'n Play kan prima als ze BSN aan kunnen leveren of je dat zelf even invult. Dan moet je wel na 30 dagen documenten insturen, maar nu moet je met Pay 'n Play ook al documenten insturen als je uit wilt laten betalen.

As far as I know, you can use all kinds of payment methods in the Netherlands. The good ones I know of are Trustly, PaySafeCard, and Skrill. When it comes to IDeal, most of my friends who play with me say it is the handiest of them all.
