    Default IE vs FireFox Search

So how would you get different search results in Internet Explorer and Fire Fox when using Google for both? I did a Google search for one of my keywords and get different result for the two different browsers. That doesn't make any sense to me and I have never seen that before?? It is not a big difference but I wouldn't think there should be a difference at all.

Or any incognito browser setting. It's hard to get accurate natural search results in your own browser because of cookies and Google History

+ I think that different Google servers can return different results. You may hit a different server with consecutive searches.

IE and Firefox do seem slightly different, maybe they look at your history slightly differently and weight it differently.

I imagine it is a combination of cookies, history and user agent.
Travis, if you recall, I pointed a few searches out for you last week with differerent results for you in IE and FF.

I'm not seeing any significant differences between them from where I am.

When I check the rankings of my own fashion sites I always use this link for unpersonalised search results - https://www.google.co.uk/?pws=0&gl=uk

    Hope it helps,

Thanks Kristal, I see by that link it also geo-locates so that can certainly come in handy.
