Thumbs down iGaming Post Stealing & Publishing Content?

I hope that if this report has merit, something is done immediately to resolve this issue. Bad enough affiliates do this to one another.

My only question is... if this is true, why have no DCMA's been filed? At least I have not heard of any being filed against iGaming.

Seems that if most of the sites content is scraped and rewritten, there would be a number of angry authors/content owners filing DCMA's and yelling their heads off(rightly so) about getting ripped off by such a well known site in this very competitive niche.

Great question. I know both the author of the article and the owner of the site that the news article was published on (linked in OP) are members here. I also strongly suspect that those who run iGaming Post are members here as well. Perhaps they'll chime in.

At the time of the article, I could not find anything of mine that was stolen. I would post the links but the forum will not let me.

They then published part of this article in their February magazine too. No credit is given. I found two stolen articles in their January magazine. I think it is a safe assumption that if there is no author for the article they stole it.

The author they used for the article (Mitch Matthews) turned out to be fake, again I would post the link, but the forum will not let me.

I have found about 80 articles they stole going back to October. I have found a number of ones older but have not researched that closely. Most of them were stolen from Associated Press or Pokerfuse. I found a few others stolen from Reuters, Bloomberg, Las Vegas Review-Journal, Cleveland.com and other local sites.

The reason no DMCA's were filed when you made the post is because I broke this on a Sunday, the same day you posted. I know of two people that are handling this privately and another person that wanted to stay out of it because he didn't think these people were worth the trouble. I just today have discovered one of my articles on their site so now I can swear an affidavit for a DMCA on my own work, something I could not do before.
