What's the main point of Skype group if we have a big community like GPWA to discuss any questions?

Because most people do not get involved enough with this community.
Many times i see post that barely get responses.

Most people are connected on Skype/ WhatsApp a few hours a day.
That is way there is a better chance ,that Group Members would respond.

I personally wouldn't be interested in explaining people what to do and give step by step guides via Skype or even worse WhatsApp, that distracts quite a lot from your work and personal life as well. I prefer to help people in my free time when I am in the mood to do so.

Unless Group members would be as experienced in the industry as I am for example and this process would involve some criterias to be the part of the group then that would make sense

The group will not be relevant for anyone, but it will to a lot of people.

Else than that , it might be possible to set up more than one group ,
so we can filter the participants & make it more relevant , but for that we need a demand .

As you can see , most of the posts in the groups , so not get many replies.

An open group discussing affiliate matters isn't too bad an idea. However, an affiliate manager making the suggestion without being clear about their position looks to me as being a little bit spammy.

It's poor that an affiliate manager would try to entice people away from a perfectly good forum by saying it's not up to scratch and well utilised.

The Webmasters here are likely to assume that you're either trying to attract new affiliates to your brand or that you're desperate to learn how affiliates go about building traffic so you can copy their ideas.

Perhaps you'd have a better response if you promoted your product on here whilst being open and honest about the whole thing. Or, if you really do want to have active affiliate type discussions, start a thread or two to discuss matters and state the reasoning why you're keen to discuss affiliate matters, being an Affiliate Manager.

I have expirience in this case. I am the moderator of private Russian Affiliate forum for last 7 years. Last February i open private group in Telegram for our members, and i am confirm that members activity increase ~ 8-10 times. Some members that post on forum 1 time a month,
post on Telegram group every day now.

p.s. but all these years we have one strong rule: No advertising, no affiliate managers.

It disturbs much more and you can't really invite people via a simple link, or maybe I am not aware of how to setup the groups in Skype.

In Telegram it's very easy to create a channel and we can all benefit from it

Telegram works in the same way as I know. You just turn off the notifications and that's it
