SEO - Indexification

Hi,

Today, I came across the term indexification - which refers to the indexing of backlinks to a site.

Its a term I have never come across before and I wondered if anyone here had any knowledge they could please share with me on this topic?

Made up word to sell a service to get links or pages indexed, selling seo services and seo tools.

Heard recently at a board meeting of an seo company:
"How do we increase revenue selling link indexing services?" Joe said
Mary answered "Let's call it something else and everyone will think it's some brand new thing"
Fred suggested "Let's call it indexification, for indexing links and pages, the latest greatest thing"

How long until their is a brand new tool, doing old things that is sold with the express purposes of said results?

You'd probably need to consider the context in which it was being used, but...

1. Rick's answer is good
2. There is actually a link indexer called I**********n (PS not always wise to judge a book by its cover...but it looks to me like one to run a mile from. Looks like something you'd find on w****rf****m).

All high quality backlinks will get indexed automatically, so no need for any indexing service. Sometimes I will use an index service for citation links or other links that don't normally get indexed. For those situations I use tool.indexmenow.com. If they don't manage to index your link you get your money/credits back. I've used their service for indexing over 170 links and the success rate has been roughly 95%

I know another way to index links for free. You can use 2nd level links. For example, we placed a link on one of the podcasts. This podcast very quickly got into the index and we got a link in GSC. It means that for Google this site is authoritative, it crawls it quickly and in terms of SEO it is well optimized. I'm creating a few more episodes in this podcast and placing links to other sites that link to my site but have not entered the index.
