Note- it could be that this person doesn't even work at Mediaads, so if you know someone that works there and they are legit, please let me know.

It seems ridiculous, but it's probably a freeroll for them to try to scam somebody. If it didn't work some percentage of the time, they wouldn't do it in such a goofy way because they'd be forced to step up their game I guess.

it is important always to verify who you are dealing with, especially when people are coming to you.

As with ANY blind approach at fakebook, twitter or any other social media outlet.

If someone approaches you claiming to represent a brand, instead of blindly responding, possibly revealing private information, visit the brand directly and contact them through the official channels the brand lists as their official methods of contact.

If the said brand lists that specific social media account as official, double check the spelling as is needed, or ignore the approach.
