I don't know why redflush.net would need marketing material. As I understand it, the only players that will be using the new software platform are U.S. players, right? As of now, they've stated that they are NOT able to take any NEW U.S. players. All NON U.S. players will not be allowed to play in the new U.S. version. Non U.S. will continue to play in the original casino.
Doesn't that mean that the new U.S. version is set up in a way that there won't be any new players able to sign-up, since players must be U.S. and must be existing? So there wouldn't be a need for marketing materials if there's nobody that would be able to sign-up new for us to market to.
I don't know that they have come out and said that ONLY US Players will be able to use the casino.(or have they?)
They may not accept new US players at the beginning, but that would not stop them from taking players from other countries....
Since most brands absolutely refuse to discuss this openly, we are left to continue to speculate...

If an affiliate program is not small affiliate friendly (especially small US Affiliate), then they are NOT Affiliate Friendly!
I can't remember for sure if it was this casino that said this or another MGS casino now. I kind of assume that the rules being applied to players switching to the new US casinos, apply across the board to all the MGS casinos making this change. I shouldn't assume that actually.
After reading your post and thinking about it, I realized I did not hear the specific words "The new US casino will not take new non U.S. players. " What I read was, "Existing non U.S. players will remain in the MGS casino and no changes will be made to their accounts" and "All U.S. players will be moved to the new U.S. casino" and "We are not allowing new registrations for U.S. players at this time". I did not hear one way or the other that Non U.S. players can sign-up at the U.S. casinos.
Sorry.. it was what I gathered when reading what I did read. It was an assumption on my part.
Daera, that's my understanding from reading the email from FA. I also believed that no new US players will be allowed, and only US players will be allowed to play in this new platform.
So far, I've only seen Casinoshare et. al, Red Flush and FA make any moves. All the others must be waiting until the very last minute to make the changes, for fear of scaring off money before they have to.
Seems they only migrated the least popular games to the new platform, omitting favs. Guess they want to make those games pay for the cost of production. And no more tourneys either.
Seems like a backward way to do things, tho.
Why not migrate the most popular games, and maximize profits here? Can'f figure their business model, really.
Seems like the same smart guys who ran AIG, Citigroup, GM et al are in charge of this move.

Hi all (Liz, good to see you as always),
my guess is ... and this is far-fetched, but best sense I can make of it.
If is true they only moved over the unpopular games then I would have to assume it is because they're saving the best for the long haul, not the short cut.
Almost Here! How would you like to be able to get not just one sign up from your player, or even a couple, but every single casino they join from here on? I've a plan that can make that happen and it will likely also tell you every time the player is active within the casino.

btw: My money is on them taking new players from the states as well.
Perhaps that's why some are further behind, they are the ones revving up to accept new players.
okay, maybe that's stretched tight.
but I do think they will accept new US players otherwise why bother? Why not keep things just as they are?

I don't know if all of Star Partner has made the move.. but I know Maple Casino has. I found that out yesterday. I noticed their was no link to view/redeem your loyalty points. It was gone. I asked live chat and they didn't know if they were bringing it back or not. Nice of them to tell us. Hopefully it'll come back.. I noticed the loyalty point system link was missing from my CasinoShare US also. Their live chat told me that it WILL be back and to check later that evening. I forgot to go back and look though.
Let's just keep speculating, and guessing, and making stuff up as we go....
.....all the while the operators are sitting back, clenching their teeth and not saying a word....
....and not clearing things up....and making sure we have it right.....
....and making sure the affiliates, players and the entire community has things right....
Whether Microgaming asked the operators to not say anything or not....
Confusing the industry the way they are right now is NOT the correct path they should be taking.....
