    Default Inactive depositors

A few weeks ago, I started experimenting with live streaming keywords, and they turned up to generate a good amount of registrations and deposits. What I was afraid of is that generally people that register and deposit, don't have to bet and that's what they did: registered -> deposited.

Does anyone have an experience promoting live streaming services? I was wondering if it takes time for the book to "convert" these depositors into players, or do they stay inactive in general.

While any player is better than no player, the reg/dep numbers are almost as good as no numbers at this point.

The short answer: matter of time, only the worst case scenario that waste of time. The long anwser: when you have done your work, converted players, the ball is at the sportsbook's side. Certainly theoretically speaking there could be registrations just to enjoy the livestreams. What do the staff at the sportsbook do? They send out the same bla-bla emails for each players, or they offer something special? What plus they can add for the live stream viewers? If you have the answers, you have your action plan.

Well theoretically speaking, the whole live streaming service costs money. If the sportsbook can't manage to convert, will most likely also mean a loss on their end from such players. Therefore I'd like to believe they do everything they can to convert. This is however just a theory, not sure what or how it happens exactly.

Live video stream, meaning watching live picture on the game but in the sportsbook website.

I'm assuming depositing is a requirement to watch the live streaming? Try promoting one of the books that require players to have a bet on a match to be able to watch it - a lot of the UK books use this method, although I've only looked into it briefly so I have no idea if it's only for UK customers.

Some events require a bet, but most football games don't, at least this is what I have seen with top brands like bet365 unibet and betfair. Don't get me wrong most have placed an initial bet as well, but they however remain inactive after it.

Just a little update, I talked to my managers and they said it works out well for sites focused entirely on this niche (live streaming sports). Anyone has any idea who owns sites like eurorivals dot net?

I am a bit stumped, if it works for them why it would for me. I've had about 100 regs and 50 deposits all together this month and 0 active players. It's like I've got that small % that's only there to watch weird.

IMHO, it is some error in the process of betting or in the stats.

    Yea really X,

50 deposits with no activity just isn't right.....

That is just too high of a number of inactives....

A portion of them could have deposited just to watch, a portion of them could have deposited to bet on future games (such as waiting for the superbowl, Triple Crown etc ) but all 50??

I remember reading a thread here, that was 3-4 years old I think. I had actually exchanged links with the guy and he recently posted that he is taking a break. Anyways he made a post about similar situation, and turned up that his registrations were from the same country where people indeed deposited to just watch.

I have requested for a check up on the countries where the deposits came from, and hopefully will get some info on that. I do not believe it's an error as I keep close contact with my managers and the programs are one of the industry's top, not random or small companies.

Could be just my bad luck I don't know. Will just have to wait and see. This is the first month I am experimenting with live streaming, could be just taking time to convert.
