Default Indexing struggles after moving from Shopify to WordPress - Any advice?

    Hi everyone,
I’ve been working on my new site since last summer, and I’m hitting a bit of a wall with Google.
I originally started the site on Shopify, but the platform’s URL structure and limitations were causing issues with my links, so I decided to migrate everything to WordPress to have better control.
The interesting part is that some subpages actually got indexed while I was on Shopify. However, since the move, only my homepage is indexed in Google, and many of my deeper pages are stuck in “Crawled - currently not indexed” in Search Console. Meanwhile, Bing seems to be indexing the site much better and without any issues.
My site targets several markets, including Europe and other international regions, though my primary focus is currently on the Canadian market. I’ve been focusing on high-quality content, but it feels like Google is being extra cautious after the migration and the platform change.
Does anyone have tips on how to “re-verify” the site’s authority or nudge Google to recrawl the new structure properly?
    Best,
    Sara

I looked at your sitemaps and robots.txt file, and my recommendation is to add all your sitemaps to robots.txt, not just the main sitemap.

Furthermore, if only the main sitemap appears in search console, then you must add all sitemaps.

    Good luck.

Sara, actually you have answered your questions already. Crawled - currently not indexed means in Google's words "i don't need this"
And probably it will never get indexed.

Your basic problem is obvisouly - zero linkbuilding, zero EEAT signals, content is replacable and exist 1.000 times already, no focus on nothing (Arabs, Finland, Austria, Canada, Europe (FI, AT is what?)). No strategy, no structure at all.

How should Google know for what u are the expert, the authority!?
If they cant understand this, they wont index you.

Thanks for the feedback. I understand your points.

I have now updated my sitemap to focus mainly on the Canada pages, and I have set some of the less important GEO pages to noindex for now to create a clearer topical focus.

I do have some backlinks already, but I know I still need to build more authority over time. Link building is something I’m still learning and working on.

I’ve also updated all my Canada reviews with author information and additional trust elements while continuing to improve the content quality and structure.
