    Default I've got beer issues.

I was watching a Brit TV shows over the weekend.. "Midsomer Murders" and there were a few scenes in a pub.. with beer on the tables.

I zoned out, and started to marvel at the beer, the way it looked in a glass, its amber liquid, the head, the small bubbles making its way to the top... and then.. i started to taste it. And then I wished for beer.

Its been 3... no wait, 4 weeks since my last beer. I miss you. *sniff* This weekend my friend. This weekend.

    Warsteiner or Carlsberg.

Warsteiner. Carlsberg is probably the most over-rated lager in the world.

When I was in Germany I was drinking quite a bit of a pilsner beer... just wish I could remember its name. It was delicious when drunk in 500ml glasses.

After a stag this weekend I stereotypically vowed never to drink beer ever again, after reading your post I am already looking forward to another, and it is 10.20AM!

Warsteiner... based on their adverts Carlsberg can do everything apart from decent beer!

Extensive research have shown that the cure for beer issues is, well, beer.

3 or 4 weeks without beer?! That sounds like insanity.

Hahaha Rick I think you could be a man after my own stomach! I love lunches in the sun, especially when steaks are involved, and beers. For dinner, there is a place I like to visit here in Brisbane.. and my order is always the same.. rump steak, medium rare, mushroom sauce, baked potatoes, vegetables... and sometimes I'll get the seafood side order of prawns. They have a sign up the front "voted worst vegetarian restaurant".

22mins till steak / beer time. The waiting has been.. unbearable.

I'm salivating. All I've done is eat chicken, pork sausages for the past few weeks.

I am finding it hard to find a good steak after going to South Africa last year. I had the best steak of my life there and now nothing satisfies me.

As for beer/alcohol. I had some beers about 2 weekends ago which was the 3rd time this year that I had any alcohol. The first 2 times was london and dublin. I will be drinking beer this weekend as I'm going out for my bday, then in Barca, then that will be it for me until new years eve.

And when new years eve comes, it will be an entire year since I've eaten mcdonalds, which I have told myself I'm only allowed to do on new years eve... and it was easier for me to give up smoking than to give up mcdonalds. Now i'm salivating. *drool*

So steak never happened. But .. a lamb roast pub lunch did happen.. titled as "the world best pub lunch" and for $6... it was magical.

But I did partake in the drinking of beer. It too was magical.

I know that feeling.. there is a place up here in Brisbane, its pricey for a steak, and well worth it. The steak is cooked to perfection, so much so, that you can use a butter knife to cut it. Best steak I've ever eaten, not chewy, not dry, just magical. Lord of the Rings magical. But I still wouldn't reject a steakhouse steak.

Not sure if you're asking me or Rak, but for me it's because I've been on a weightloss kick.

I've lost 6.5kg since march (that's with building a crapload of muscle too). I'm not doing it very quickly but it's showing - my whole body shape has changed. My goal weight was to lose 10kg but the closer I get to the goal it's looking like I can afford to lose more.. By the time summer comes I should be cut as!

Yep ... 4 weeks man. 4 weeks since no beer. I drank a lot of beer in Germany, and then I headed off to Morocco... and well.. finding booze there is like trying to find an honest politican. It was very very dry... weather and booze wise. And then last week I got the flu...

As I got better.. the cravings came back. Delicious cravings.

Thanks for explaining guys!! Both makes sense, I didn't know Morocco had a beer drought, but i guess having a little vacation from beer just makes it all the better when you finally taste one!!

And Renee sounds excellent you should send us a before and after pic!! Keep it up!
